Help Hawk GT Forum grow - Ideas?

Hawk GT Forum has been growing like a weed since it started in August, or whenever it was started.
The thing is, the forum is extremely hard to find, especially on google because there are not many websites out there linking to us. So, if you know of, or are the webmaster of, a hawk related website (or even a motorcycle website?) it would be great to see some links popping up to the forums to not only let hawk people know the forums are here, but to also help us get a higher rank in the search engines so people looking for hawk information can find us.
Also, I have thought about trying to work with hawkgt.com, but it appears that most of the vocal listers seem to hate the idea of forums..and I assume the ones that randomly read the list when they need help or are bored (the same people that secretly wish the list was a forum ) probably dont know the forums are here.
Thsee are basically my ideas to help us grow.. Does anyone else have any ideas? I love having more and more members on the site because it makes more posts..and more posts mean I can spend more chunks my days surfing hawk content.
So, what do you guys think?

I forget who the moderator of the List is, but see if he'll add a link on hawkgt.com to the Forum. Then, whoever wants to click, will. That site sees the most traffic of any Hawk-related site.

being a britt im sure some of you are aware that we never got Hawk GTs the only bikes that are here and most of Europe are the 2nd hand jap imports and they are called Bros! if you were after some more members from around the world, maybe you could incorporate Hawk/Bros in your site as i only found the forum by accident when looking for info for my better halfs Bros!

You could go the simbiotic route and offer hawk/motorcycle related companies a portion of your banner for free, if they were willing to reciprocate. Check outhttp://www.rimfirecentral.com/ & http://www.ar15.com/ as a template, they use animated gifs and flash to attract attention, far superior to an entry on a list of links.

As I suggested before, the only "easy" way of getting more members in here is advertising to the Australian, Asian and European communities. The Bros was far more popular in those areas and has a strong following and many forums in many non-english speaking countries...not much for the English speaking community, though.

Aside that, the only way to get more folk here is through word of mouth. Everyone has to do their part. The forum's link is included with nearly all of my emails to anyone with a Hawk that I do business with.

Awesome, thanks for helping us spread the site..I have tried to get a couple links on some european websites, we have got a few UK folks which is great. I think we will continue down the path of success at this rate.

I think if it were easier to post a picture that would certainly win over some people from the Hawkgt.com list as they can't post pics. It would certainly bring people over to use the classified section and then they would end up staying.
