but what a hollow way to win! what a boring race, i was hoping for a proper battle right down to the last corner but sadly it fell a lot short of that?
rossi has been plagued with bad luck all season? 2 tyre problems and 1 mechanical failure! recon hayden can hang on to the title? i dont!
Ducati must be mad to let the race's only star go, we want bayliss back in moto gp?

      cheers

Rossi gave him a 50 point head start and he nearly caught him.

I agree it woulda been nice if nicky had won straight-up... but then again was it really fair that pedrosa took him out last race? it's just racing. at the end of the season he was the most consistent and won the championship because of it. It might not be as exciting, but neither was watching KRJR build up a big lead on 2000 then win while Rossi spent the first 1/2 of his season crashing and the last 1/2 being fast.

I'll be very curious to see how he does next year since he won't be testing questionable parts while trying to win... I suspect then we'll see what kind of rider he has or has not become.

It's not that I'm not proud of Nicky, because I am. Happy for Honda, too. But when you get down to it, it's really a team effort, Repsol Honda is the best team. Nicky Hayden rides for them and this year, he had better luck than Rossi. I personally think Rossi is a better rider, but he happens to be on an ill handling, unreliable YAMAHA. I hate Pedrosa, but he's catching up fast too. Next year should be very interesting.

                  Really? Why?

I didn't start following the GP until this year, so I know very little, but I like that it's an American winning lately, of course. He may or may not be the best rider out there - by all accounts that'd be Rossi - but he's good. Seems to be a good kid, too. I'll tell you one thing... Pedrosa is a jackass. On the other hand, he made Hayden a come-from-behind underdog, which made me like him even more.

I didn't know anything about who was in the GP until I saw "Faster" its a documentary of the '02 '03 season ( I think ) the last time they had 500 2strokes. It profiles the rivalry between Rossi and Biaggi and the quick rise of John Hopkins. Good stuff, those guys are rediculously good at what they do.
