Ya know .... (Mr. Dmitri), an enterprising guy could come up with LOTSA HAWK GRAPHICS ... and make these ALL YEAR LONG ... in ANY COLLAH ...

        I need a Christmas Hawk under the tree t-shirt .... a two-up Hawk Valentines t-shirt ... Chocolate Easter Bunnies getting flattened by a Hawk t-shirt ... my July 4th Exploding Hawk t-shirt ... certainly a Scarey Halloween Hawk t-shirt ...

Ju$t need to get the idea$ out there

Hmmmm ... I suppose next time, I could add MORE BOLD MESSAGES about the impending order deadline ... Wuddyaa think?

What is that magical machine? And how much would a two sided colored shirt cost? (interested in quoting next years hawk rally shirt job?)

Magical machine is called DTG (Direct to Garment) it's slow and expensive to buy and to run, it is best for small runs and full color images, while most of the work we do is still conventional screen printing but DTG is allowing up to take on new work that normally I would have turned down. BTW I own a shop and do this for a living

Problem is I'm always busy, if not printing then working on bikes, vaproblasting or traveling, I should probably focus on the business more and grab every opportunity to make a buck but I'm not a businessman by trade, I like to tinker with bikes and ride them, like printing too but it's more of a necessity, so it's become a chore...
I've done CTHR shirts in the past, usually just give them out, trying to make money filling individual orders is counterproductive, for example I ran 1300 prints today in maybe 4 hours, it was a slow process, with another person (it was only 2 of us today) machine can run twice as fast, so you can imagine it's a little more profitable to run a big auto press than doing one-offs.

I'd rather print different Hawk shirts all day instead of boring crap I deal with every day, but big machines come with big payments, sometimes I wish I was doing it in the garage, no overhead, but I wanted to swim with big fish, now I have to keep swimming or sink and drown.

If someone has creative talent and wants to print some random shirts I can accommodate, weather it's a screen print or DTG, glad to do it for the Hawkers, I'm just not organized enough to do it myself. Perhaps in the near future we can launch some kind of website that will take orders and all I have to do is print and slap a shipping label on it? Working on it now, bit still in planning stages.

My buddy designed this and with Bruins in the Playoffs I will fry to sell a few. Hope someday we will have a collection of shirts ready to ship for web orders, for now it's just this...

True story, when I first met Mr. jspeed53 he had a small note pad and pen and was taking down everyone's names over the weekend as he met them for the first time.

Which I thought was a great idea at his age ... ( jk )
ok ok I forget shit too ...

But when the WCHR reports and pictures started posting he was all over it, like, " White on Rice "
had everyone's name and where they hailed from.

                        Top notch reporting !!!

A lot of friends were made and names and numbers were traded that weekend.

So if you need to know someonesomeone's name, just check with him

He's done the same thing at each CTHR he's attended!
                              '89 Hawk a.k.a. The RallyHawk (my son's now!) | '89 Hawk a.k.a. The Deuce | Spare Parts/Dented Learner Bike | '13 Tacoma | '69 Falcon (currently getting reassembled! )

I've spent most of my money on women, beer, cars and motorcycles. The rest of it I just wasted.

Thank you gentlemen! The kind words are appreciated.

Growing old sucks! I reminded at every mirror-visit ... whilst my self image is rooted in my late-20s, the geezer looking back is almost always a shocking sight.

The note-taking thing came about as I posted pics to an event ... “Pics! Or it didn’t happen!” per our West Coast Super-Mod was oft of saying .... and didn’t know who or what the pictures contained ... everyone has TWO NAMES!

So instead of repeating the “...woulda, coulda, shoulda” after every ride ... I just tossed a small note pad into the tank bag. And no longer was I confronted with the dilemma... “ ... let’s see ... was that guys name Bart or SPA?”
