I showed up with a hawk that was thrown together over the last several months but not complete… Steve’s prediction was 2 hours ... With the help of Gino, Steve, Andy, Chuck, Eileen, and Dmitry we were able to get it up and running in 7 ish ... despite every possible gas orifice leaking ... so that I could take the boy for a spirited group ride yesterday with my wife following in the pick up truck just in case!

Duke is hooked and wants to start planning for our return next year ... where to go what to see ... and have all the mods we talked about ... Done ... we will see y’all next year if not sooner !
This was the list I was given...LOL Two hrs would have covered it no? Screenshot_20200803-133821_Messenger.jpg

Matt and Steve, was great to meet you in person, and thank you for all the wrenching done over the weekend! I love having the Hawk community banging out projects to keep these great bikes on the road.

PS - Matt, your son is one cool little dude!

shhhhhhhhh.... a 6 hour of travel i think really only ended up being 4 hours and some min.

i've heard request to make this a MUST DO EVERY YEAR. I want to modify the West to East route to avoid the MAIN cars slow us down road.

MUST DO is CEDAR and Slate Run road.

              15 mph

"flip that switch we talked about" ......."your 5% is my 100%"

could do a shorter run to climb the Slate Run road but would miss the Wellsboro diner for breakfast. got to chart something out for next year

A few track days should help? You should personally show me the rope's to show the rest of the world it can be done.

The food never stopped coming! It was soooooo good then Chuck says O.K. dinner is ready after eating 4lbs of food.

It's a buffet diner! Table was 10 feet long full of food I don't think you could put other plate on the table...

Thanks Chuck see you next year god willing.

no one took pics, in fact we were talking about it on Sunday, you are the one with all the photos, and it's your fault for not showing up.

I think I posted all the pics I had, all from the way home.

What I didn't mention was a suicidal turkey that i might have clipped in Catskill (got feather as a souvenir) and a decent size buck I nearly missed in Berkshires. Also apparently a tornado in Westfield about same time I passed through town.
