    Hello ! and Ride today

    I'm baaaccckkkkkk !

    After retiring and letting the hawk sit too long, carbs got dirty and she stopped running. Did a gumout rebuild (slow jets were plugged) and now she's runnning perfect. Gonna head up to the rockstore this morning with stepfather mike (on stock red hawk) - should be there about 0930-1000.
    Faster !!!

    Basic 50,000 mile 1988 NT650 - bought new in 89 by my stepfather
    ... 73whp - JD_700cc, stage-2 heads, 153 cams, Fox Shock +1400, .90 springs and Kiyo's magic fork oil mix , Lenac six-piston caliper & EBC rotor, SS Front lines, Eastern Beaver H4, Walker Flyscreen, 2001 Duc wheels - 120/70 & 170/60

    Past Rides...1989 Honda NX250, 1991 Bandit 400, 1995 Speed Triple, 2001 Speed Triple
    And Currently ... 2006 Triumph 675, 2005 Yammi FJR1300 ... and one bada$$ Little Hawk

      great ride - topanga, old topanga, dry canyon/cold creek, stunt, piuma, cold canyon, mulholland, and latigo.

      everything had a little sand in spots, but what stood out the most is that everything seemed to be much rougher (more woops, bumps, and dips) than it used to be ...

          That sounds like a nice ride!

          I got mine out of the garage today but there's still so much debris on the roads around here I just rode downtown to the biker coffee shop to ogle other peoples' projects to get some inspo for my own. Still beats shoveling...
