    Dual exhaust???

so i have embarked on some late winter mods.
I'm currently working on my monster seat transformation and was wondering if it would be possible to make exhaust on each side of the bike? maybe even install short 10" supertrappps on each side?
what effect, if any, would that have on the engine and performance?

never seen a double can set up on the hawk

i would assume the back pressure would change and you might loose alittle power but thats just a guess

i was woundering if you need the cross over in a dual system but cant seem to find an answer on that one.

i also noticed your in montreal
    i used to live there
    ever go to the julep
or st cat and st lawrence

    the old hangouts

i was one of the few hawk riders i had a yellow one
met a french guy that had a gray one
    got any pics of yours???

Being able to ride from point A to Point B does not mean you have skills.

The tank is from a vfr400 nc30 which runs on vac pressure!!!!
just had to install a hawk/bros front mount to it and then run a vac pipe from inlet manifold to push the fuel out.Bit of a pain to start with but got it sorted in the end.

as far as the exhaust goes it's a one off rear section thats been fabricated to give the vtr sp1 ( your rc51 ) look

I had 2 seperate dual exhaust creations. Neither offered any improvements over a stock single outlet system. But they were alot heavier (couldn't find 34 guage SS motorcycle exhuast tubes at the time). Looking back I think the midpipes were way too long to be effective but that's the price you pay to get them up under the seat. -C.
