Who's down for a Rally next Sept/Oct in southern Vermont?

I'm gonna try and start organizing this now...

I'm telling the List about the possible VTHR too...

Do it on a Loudon race weekend (http://www.lrrsracing.com) and everyone ride to the track to watch the club races. You can ride from S.Vermont to mid-NH on all fun backroads. You can then observe 4-8 Hawk's kicking ass.

I made all but one race last year. I am hoping to do the same in 06. There is full bathroom facilities and camping the whole weekend. $25 before Friday 6:00 pm and $20 after Friday 6:00 pm.

OK, the East Coast Hawk Rally is at Natural Bridge in VA June 2-4, the North East Hawk Rally is in Oneonta NY July 21-23, and the Fall Eastern Hawk Rally is in Cruso, NC September 15-17. In case anyone here isn't also a member of the Hawklist, or doesn't keep track of it on Nabble, but would want to show up for the big rallies.

After discussing the idea with Dick Wolcott, who hosts the NEHR at his place (lots of beautiful twisty roads around there from what I understand), we might want to incorporate some VT roads into one of our rides that weekend, because he knows some great roads up there and we'd have a pretty big group. Or, we could plan on one of the last weekends in September for our own "VTHR". The foliage peaks just about then and should be gorgeous. My family's got a place that's great camping. No structures on the property, so those of us who stay overnight get to rough it. Thoughts??

Where is Dicks House in relation to lake George? When is the NEHR?

Dick's in Oneonta (and that's the NEHR, set for July 21-23). I have no idea how far from Lake George.

Oh and a "Foliage tour" Would be awesome.

Just make sure you make it up into the Northern part of the state and go over Smugglers Notch. I can be a guide.

For a good "Foliage Tour," I think the last two weeks in September are usually best.
