AGV Ti-Tech ?

I have been a HJC owner from 95 to current. Different helmets through the years. I find it fits my head better than the others. I feel the technology is pretty much the same as the other Companies with fiberglass /carbon fiber shells.

With some controversy at the track short of mentioning HJC and how more concussions are experienced with this "cheep" helmet. I am looking to pick up a helmet that might not be banned and save $ in the long run.

I am currently looking at AGV Ti-Tech. Any pro's/con's

i dont know that specific helmet, but 5 years ago i bought an AGV Top Demon, and it was one of the best helmets i ever had.. i was really happy with it.

funny you should mention HJC and AGV like this.. i went around everywhere looking for AGV helmets to try on... everyone locally stopped carrying them, and only carry HJCs now... (other then cycle gear.. but they still dont carry AGVs)

i did see this carbon fiber HJC i really liked.....i dont know if i'll get it, but it was nice...

i don't have a ti tech agv but i do have a stealth,love the helmet in the summer hate it in winter.
use my hjc in winter.
the agv is lighter than my hjc and i can feel it after some of my marathon rides.
the agv isn't noisy just you get alot of air,its very well vented

The first helmet I ever bought was an HJC. I think the fit is comparable to the AGV (as far as head shape). I also htink the top of the line HJC has come a LONG way and is a good helmet now.

I don't fit in Shoei's right, The Arai Quantum was the only Arai I found that fit.

I think AGV's are a good compromise, I feel they are a good quality Helmet that has been on the market for a long time and have alot of R&D.

I think Lazer is there cheap brand (FWIW).

As I have said I have the XR-2 (which Gino, you DID wear when you took the Kuwaitihawk for a test run, the helmet is a large for sizing help, but I have heard the TI tech runs 2 sizes small).

The XR-2 is 1 step down from the Ti-tech and about half the price! It was AGV's top of the line until late 2004.

Get 2 XR-2's for the price of one Ti-tech!
