Ideas for a Monster seat recover

Have any of you guys any ideas on what to do different on a re-cover.
I have a monster seat
Re- do it in leather
Leather and vinyl
Different material
Different colour
Embroidery(RC31/Honda???)
I intend to have a custom spray job on it possibly pearl/candy
I dont want anything too garish that will take the eye away from the bike

For your imagination:
VFR wheels front & Back
Polished swing with routed brake line
Polished frame
Chrome forks(Deauville)
Gold Brembos with Chrome brackets.
Chrome Triple
Vapor digi speedo with surround on polished stainless tube
Twin 4.5"headlights set up similar to a Triumph triple on polished stainless
tube with highway hawk indicators
Ducati monster seat.

I'll probably get a bucket of rotten veggies thrown at me, but why not go for a natural looking brownish leather, especially if you get a monster seat cowl painted to match the bike I think it would go with all the polish you have.

doug started a thread a few weeks back about recovering seat. in that thread someone posted a website that has ready made seat covers for all kinds of models. had diffrent options. do a search for seat covers and find that link.


i like the carbon fiber looking material (newer ducs have this material on them) looks cool but suttle at the same time.
