Moving to SanFran in 4 weeks

I'm off to San Francisco in 4 weeks to start my new job at Ducati. I'll be heading up their North American promotions (bike launches, trackdays, race presence, fashion shows, DucTruck, Ducati Island, etc). After 5 years at Red Bull as the Northeast Event Specialist I felt like this was the right job and right location to make a move to. I'm pretty excited.

Apparently I hear SanFran is a hotbed of Hawk madness? Any truth to this rumour?

Oh yea, one of Ducati CEO Michael Lock's bikes parked out in the company garage, next to a few 1098's and the like? A mint RC30

Hopefully run into some Bay Area Hawk folks.

      Welcome to the Bay Area

Congratulations!!!! What a sweet gig. Oh yeah, the well-ridden Hawk GT is feared by many in these here parts. Be careful as Hawks are valued highly and those with less than admirable intentions can not resist a hawk sitting outside at night. I hope you will be able to keep your Hawk indoors.

      See you around here soon!

That's interesting.. If I put all my racebike parts onto my street chassis.. I'll have a incredible canyon sleeper

You'll see a bunch of Hawks in the City more than out on the road. They are always getting stolen at night there. Where do you plan on living, in the City ? Let us Bay Area riders know when you're here. It should be nice riding. Right now we're getting a little rain.... but the dry sunny weather wil be back!!!!!!
