  • Favorite Ride (with pic!)

    So, we have one or two favorite ride posts but none of them have arial pics, and with things like google maps and google earth it seems possible to get.
    Here is a HUGE pic of my favorite ride. I snagged it from another riding website (since i was too lazy to go do it myself today)
    But, I would love to see what some of your favorite roads look like.



    I love to start at the bottom and ride up the hill..and i think the picture is more fun if you start at the bottom. It is about an 8 mile road and it is right outside of Lewiston Idaho, its called the spiral highway.
    So, lets see some pics of your favorite roads!

      Little tujunga... took a little while to find a good map of what to expect.

      It's scary how slow I am!

      '88 HawkGT - crashed as all hell - Hiperform subframe, VFR rear wheel, F3 front end, Penske shock.

      '05 Ducati S2R - Monstrack mirrors, CRG levers, Evoluzione clutch slave cylinder, ProItalia tail chop, Arrow damper, Nichols flywheel, Suburban Machinery bars

                  you should be close to some very nice rides in either NM or CO

                  Just do not head south or east - would be very boring.

                      That is a picture of a model of the real thing... Little Tujunga just 20minutes N-NE of where I live (Burbank, CA). Not bad for being so close to Hollywood!

                      The reason I ride so slow is because I'm too afraid of riding off the side of a mountain.
                      It's scary how slow I am!
