To have a give away or to not have a give away..POLL

Basically the topic. The fine folks at www.newenough.com have received enough donations for us to consider a give away. We have roughly 50$ that can apply to something at the store, I was thinking of a pair of joe rocket sonic gloves or something...( http://newenough.com/gloves/street_o...le_gloves.html )
We can keep the money riding and have a bigger give away later, but i thought since its the beginning of the season and the website is growing so fast we might want to kick the idea around. So, vote and feel free to post your thoughts.

No, money is building up and one day we should have a big give away

I say a give away would be a good way to drum up even MORE business for the New Enough program.

We could post it up on other boards to get more members here as well.

I think a giveaway would be a good idea. Something small and usefull every season or couple of seasons.

I vote spread the wealth. Everybody would like to get a little something rather than seeing one person get a big something.

How about two pairs of these to give away.
The first thing I thought of when I tried these gloves on for the pictures was, 'these gloves are comfortable!' The leather used is very soft and feels great...

When you buy gear from New enough there us a question asking who reffered you that is in the program or some such thing.

If you click The Hawk Forum then we all benefit.

Keiran, when you go to check out they have a little option to have new enough donate $1 to a group of your choice. Hawk GT Forum is one of those options. It does not cost you anything, new enough pays for it out of their own pocket. So, everytime you place an order you have the option to donate to us.

Copytech, sounds like a great idea. Everyone else cool with it? We will give away two pairs of Joe Rocket Blaster 2.0 gloves. The winner will have choice of color and size, so no worries about that stuff.
I will talk to newenough soon and get the ball rolling so that we can do a give away.

Here is how I am thinking about doing it: Just making a thread in the general section and any person who is a member of the forum (whether new or old) can post in that thread and they will be automatically entered into the drawing. After a week or so of letting that thread build I will take all the names and put them into a hat, mix em up, and draw two. Sound fair? Any better ideas?

Sorry for a million posts. I just checked on new enough and they recommended against doing something with a close out item because colors and sizes can run out very quickly. We can still try it, but i dont want any winner to get screwed out of getting their color or size.

Also, on a seperate note (well, seperate from new enough) our great friend J.D. Hord from www.hordpower.com dropped me a private message and was asking me about potentially giving away something small to contribute to our little string of give aways. I know that J.D. has been a bad ass in the hawk community for years and has even become a great contributor of information here on the forums. Perhaps we can use a give away from Mr. Hord to get him even more business from all the hawkers across the world. Stay tuned for what we figure out.

Ok, Im sorry, I just cant stop posting. J.D. just dropped me a message saying that he would like to give away a $50 gift certificate for hordpower.com. This is EXTREMELY generous and I think it deserves its own thread dedicated to him, his business, and of course the give away.

                        SWEET!

and I thought it was just gonna be some stickers...

Maybe we should make this a little more interesting...

The Hawk List has a bike raffle every year... I am not saying we are in that league but for a $1.00 Buy in for tickets for this stuff we could continue the raffle with other items in the future...

Just a thought. Ia m all for a FREE raffle though.
