I just finished with my f2 tank mod last week and really didn't get to ride it much until this weekend. It was great I rode all weekend on it and never had to refill. I rode to work today and on my way home I had the notion to stop and fill up by my work, but passed the staion and got on the highway instead. I make it all the way to my exit and while looking at my trip meter seeing 184 on it im thinking I might get 200 out of it. That was until 2 miles down the road my bike sputtered and died. I wasn't to worried until I realised I was already on the reserve. Oh well, a call to a friend and a gas can later I'm back on the road. I now know to refill at around 170 to be safe and to make sure im not on te reserve.

well, on my stock hawk, I was getting a consistant 52 miles to the gallon (highway of course), so when ever I got close to 150 miles, I just reached down and made sure I wasn't on reserve, I havent ran out yet! of course no I say that I will probably run out tomorrow.-NEVER LET YOUR FEARS STAND IN THE WAY OF YOUR DREAMS-
