    Heads up for camshafts in the UK

    If any one in the UK is interested in having camshafts reprofiled, Kent Cams in folkstone do 2 grinds. They have a road or track grind, havent got the spec on me but is online somewhere! I called around a few dealers only not to be shown to much interest, so when i realised they were not to far a way from me i called them direct! I took them to there factory in person and the guy who deals with the bike cams was very helpfull! they turned them round in 7 days and heres the killer! He charged me there trade price £80.00 yes thats 80 quid for a road tune!
    and seeing as my front cam had a big old chip out of a lobe, they needed some TLC anyway and that got ground away! so a big thumbs up for Kent Cams !

    How much was that ebayer offering to do your Cams originaly?
    Also do you know what profile you had done? Its just my Red bike
    has AT cams in and just wanted to see what the difference is.

        Kent cams are very good, ive delt with them a few times. Whats the performance increase like ?

            First dibs on all those bits when it goes pear-shaped.

            Seriously, what else fancy is goinfg in that motor then? Other than the cams.

              cams,heads ported, weisco 696cc kit, factory 3 jets with unipods and an adjustable ignition advancer! nowt too mental as i i want it to be reliable! I have a 954 blade for mental times!

                  Ive not had them done yet, but when he is back from his holiday this week, Roy Simmonds (engineering) will be doing them. He came highly recommended by the guy at Kent cams. He will be boring my barrels too! So ill let you know how it all goes!
