    Adjustible clutch lever

    hey,
im running on an ASSumption here... but if i get another cable operated lever from a newer honda (suggestions?), will it bolt onto the stock perch?

i want an adjustible one, similar to what i have for my brakes.. (dial adjustable stock RC51)

    Shouldn't this be in Mech/tech?..........

I don't think it will bolt to the stock perch. Your best bet is to get the whole thing, perch and lever from the bike your looking at. (non hydraulic of course)

I'm not sure exactly which models work, but several Honda levers are interchangeable. I know that some VFR 750's had adjustable levers which bolted straight in... Try levers from similar age bikes is my suggestion.

i have a RC51 clutch master setup right here...

obviously, i cant use it because its hydraulic.... i looked at it, and it wouldnt really be possible to convert it to cable operation..

what im really looking for is a lever from a cable clutch honda that looks similar (with that adjusting dial)...

i vaguely recall someone saying years ago about a VFR one like that, but i havent been able to find anything... the CBRs appear to have gone from a non-adjustable "looks like ours without the mirror perch" setup, directly to the adjustable hydraulic one... no adjustable cable one.

          anyone have ideas?

            FWIW:
Just before I went to the bike wrecker looking for parts last month, I happened to be talking to JD. I asked him the same question, about getting adjustable levers for both sides. He said 93-97 VFR for the brakes, (which you already have) but siad there is no drop-in Honda part like you re looking for. (I was surprised too.) If you find one, let us know.
