mirror mirror on the wal...... bar.. on the handlebar.

    hey,
as most of you know, i have a set of low clipons on my bike.. im also not running the stock brake master, or the stock clutch perch.

taking a hint from a few bikes ive seen online, i put a small bar end mirror on.. but honestly.. i cant see jack with it... its so low that i have to turn my head, and my arm is directly in the way too.

i want something small and unnoticable.. but it has to work with my downward angled, slanted back bars..

    anyone have any suggestions?

I'll try to get a pic of what I ended up with... it's a pair of black, round Ken Sean barends.
I wanted the CRG Hindsight LS mirrors, but they would have been about $100 each by the time they got here.

I'm pretty happy with the setup... doesn't ruin the overall look of the front... I feel, anyway.

The avatar pic is before mirrors... I'll see what I can do.

        pics would be great.
im kinda lost at how im going to make this work.. the grips are right at (beyond) the edge of the RC51 clipons as it is...

I like the CRG's too but why are they so expensive.

I went with Napoleon bar ends and they work fine for me.

Here's the bar end mirrors I have. They vibrate with the engine a bit, but it works I guess...

Not sure if it is what you are after. But I mounted my napoleon bar ends in the stock mirror holes.
It might be worth looking at anyway since you allready have them.

that might be cool... if they had any pics of how it works.

all it says is "rear view technology" over and over and over.

                          the crg's are indeed expensive.

i bought em anyway, and i really like them, now that the pain of the purchase price is behind me.

they fold back, which for me, splitting lanes in nyc, a land where the occasional knockover is not uncommon, keeps them from breaking and allows me to fold em up if the slot in traffic i want to get through is too small - and yeah, it has happened.

they also have an adapter that goes in the bar itself to fit the mirrors at the end of the clip ons. that is more $$ though.

now if they can just make em for $50 a pop instead, i may consider them for my other bikes.

Actually, there are pics of how it works and pics of what you see, all you need to do is a little clicking. Looks pretty cool to me!!!
