    I give you "Blackhawk"

Was bored today after rebuilding a friends front brake system (he was riding with NO front brake)...

Found some bedliner in the garage and...

    TA DA!

Blackhawk, Bedliner Hawk.... Whatever you wanna call it.

This was a friends bike, he decided to go buy a ZX6E so this thing is sitting in my garage, Tank all dented, BAD paint job, broken tabs on the cowl, no headlight and stock bars.

I put clipons on it, fixed the cowl, gave it a headlight I had laying around, cleaned and jetted the carbs, bondoed the tank and BEDLINERED IT!

Most likely gonna sell it. CHEAP. (well cheap to me)

Still needs mirrors, (anyone got a stock set?) and some front blinkers.

I think the bedliner is a good fix, It hides the cracks in the cowl and the bondo on the tank.

    What do you guys think?

The world has seen its second bedlinered Hawk... first sign of the Hawkpocalyse...

Mike Conlon did this a few years ago. I like it.

Wait, Doc... didn't you buy Conlon's Hawk?

Nope, I didn't buy his Hawk. I htink Alex did and it is on it's way to Cali (he is gonna sell it out there)

I got this one and had a can of bedliner lying around so... Easier than spraypaint.

Not a bad way to go, Doc! I've thought about painting mine with the "hammered" look krylon paint but I don't want to do something that would be hard to undo if I didn't like it... I do have a cracked front fender to try it on- it sure would cover the scratches and cracks!

                lol... not bad at all...

i remember seeing a hawk like that online years ago.. the guy did the same thing.
then later on, he dropped it and dented the tank.... cut the rubber with a razor and PEELED the shell off.... lol. left a rubber "hawk tank mold"

later on he fixed the tank and re-applied a new bedliner.. couldnt tell it was ever dented.
