    Pirelli Diablo or Metzeler Roadtec

Looking for input on which of these to get. I would like something sticky but lasts a long time (who doesn't). The Diablo and the Roadtec both look promising to me.

I got Pirelli Scorpion SYNC and love them. I had some qualifiers and hated them I had OEM tires from the 70's that worked better. In the end it is personal preference.

Did you get the ZR or R version of the Scorpion SYNC? Which sizes and are they fitted to stock wheels?

Pirelli's new "sport tour" line is the Diablo Strada's. You can get a Strada rear with a regular Diablo front for an excellent compromise. A buddy has a full set of the Stradas on his ZX-9 and he loves them! His first comment was that they warm up quick and hold corners very well.

I have a full set of the regular Diablos and like them as well. Although I'll be looking for a more ST shoe next time. In other words I ride the freeway too often.

I have 120/160 on stock wheels except my front rim has been split and welded to accept a wider tire. I did not know there was a R and ZR version I will have to look.
