    Jd Hord

I just wanted to say Jd is one of the greatest men I have never met. We(me my wife and our son had to make a rapid trip to UC DAVIS to have my sons spine fused from t3 to l3) I had ordered chain and sprokets with Jd. Well with taking almost 2 weeks off from new job airfare (no hotel) we stayed at Ronald McDonald house to be close to him. Well money lets say was tight. His Hordness sent me my parts anyway.I'm at a lose it's been so crazy at home Jd has once again pulled thru for one of us!

Wow.... that is awesome of JD... you got to have a lot of respect for someone who is great enough to send parts without payment (is that what he did??? I was kind of confused by your message). I hope your son is feeling much better... I have 8 years of education at UC Davis and I know, as a previous volunteer at UCDMC, their medical center is top notch. TO HORD!!!
You know your a hawkaddict when you check ebay and craigslist every hour for parts to upgrade

      YA
I have spent a 1 or 5000 with jd i'm good for it. UCDMed was the best! That's what Shriners in Spokane said and he needed it asap. It was nice to have some motavation to tinker with the bike and get my mind on something else!

      Thank You JD

JD has always been a huge help to everyone in the Hawk community. I've only been involved with Hawks for about 3 years now. When I was picking up my first Hawk via Ebay, I was told that if there was anything that I needed to ask a guy by the name of JD Hord out on the forums.

Since that day I've found that most of my questions have already been asked and answered whether on this form or on "the list". It doesn’t take long to realize the respect that fellow Hawkers have for JD and his wisdom on the web and out on the track. I will gladly sport one of JD's Hordpower stickers on my bike a soon as I get it back from the paint shop!

SVHUNTER, your respect for JD does not go unnoticed. You have always been one of JD's biggest supporters on this forum. I hope that all is well with your son. I'll keep him in my thoughts and prayers. Keep us posted on his condition!
