jacket got stolen last monday (i thought i posted about that???) new one should be here... TODAY!!! woot! (i got a killer deal off newenough.com.. and i did the HawkGTforum $1 thing..)

temp friends jacket is in the backpack... gloves are in my back pocket of my back pack. it doesnt look it in the pic, but its stop/go motorcycle setup traffic for the last hour, and im stopping again just about a bikelength behind the camera. this isnt part of the ride yet... just part of moving across the street while we lineup for the actual ride...

id like to be All Of The Gear, All Of The Time... but really im All Of The Gear Unless I Really Cant, Then Its Atleast A Helmet, Gloves, Pants And Boots/RidingShoes...

but people get confused when i say im AOTGUIRCTIAAHGPAB/RS..

i was a fire fighter.. believe me, ive seen enough road rash to know that while a helmet makes me live, a lack of a jacket makes me wish i wasnt..

ooh, btw, these are the only pics i have online at the moment that show off my bitchin new radiator.. lol

note the tapered endtanks for turning clearance with the monster RC51 front forks, and the curve in the radiator (making it longer then it is wide)
its as tall as it can be with the TBR exhaust right there too... its bigger then the ducatis radiaitor in the first pic.. lol

she stays on the thermostat unless im stopped.. flick the fan on, and in 100*+ traffic, she'll drop down to the thermostat... i wont have much to worry about when i (someday) put a 700cc 80hp motor in there.. lol.

well.. it started as a GSXR radiator that had a hole in it.
flip it upside down.. alot of cutting and welding later.... it works perfect. lol

                        nice pic.

on a slightly off-topic note... that's an rc51 front end no? ...does it bolt right up? (assuming you have the triples, front tire, forks, clipons, etc) ...i've grown rather curious about that mod lately

the SP1 triple fits perfectly... you can then slide the SP1 or SP2 forks in there (i have the SP2s)

the only mods to the frame are drilling and tapping the steering stops... and if you wish to retain the steering lock, you need to dremel the "block" that the locking pin uses.

you do loose some turning radius on the bars because the huge fork tubes would otherwise hit the radiator... this isnt hard to live with, but i eliminated that problem by building a custom radiator.

overall, i love it.. not only does it look kickass, but the front is firmly planted even over uneven pavement at full lean. works beautifully.

very cool. thanks for the info. so the sp2 triples are a little different?
this could be an interesting winter project... it'd be a kickass upgrade from the f2 front end i've got now

i have never measured to compare, but from what ive read online and from comparing bearing sizes posted online, the pin in the SP2 triple is a diffrent size.

i just bought the SP1 setup and it all bolted together.
