What is it with you americans! the biggest and best bike racing in the world and so few people in the states follow it! Every Moto GP race is even shown live on the BBC here in the UK and most moto gp riders are superstars in Europe. And dont forget its laguna seca on sunday, you never know ya man Nicky may pull something outa the bag for his home GP!

      cheers

I heard a sports caster yesterday say something about tickets costing $150, but that would cover the entire 3 days.

BUT, this is also the station that had a famous racer talking on screen, and had his name as Kenny Robert, Jr. That's right, "Robert"--no "S". So who knows. Looks like it's gonna take awhile for this to catch on here in the midwest.

I also saw the President of IMS, Joie Chitwood give a very good interview on local tv, and his enthusiasm really seemed genuine. I think they're very excited to be hosting this event.

I'll be there--already turned in my vacation request!!!

                All,
I just logged on and took a look.
Its upwards of $100 per ticket for 3 days access.
You have to specify at least 2-3 different areas in case you dont get your first choice seating (sounds like bollocks to me).
Then camping is around another $100ish on top.

                Feels expensive....

AND where the hell is Indiana???

sounds like cost is going to be something like F1

                  lmao "wheres indiana"
its the flattest state of them all, somewhere in the middle of the country with nothing but corn fields has far as the eye can see. if it wasnt for that race track and the colts this state would be useless.

hey down south here we have some pretty nice rolling hills along the Ohio....it's not all corn fields....ok maybe 90%. But I only live about 30 min. from Nicky Hayden's stomping grounds.

Anyone want to check out the motorcycle club deal? VIP parking, parade lap... sounds like the perfect time for a 20th anniversary hawk/bros hawkgtforum.com "motorcycle club" ride!

talk about a 20th aniversary rally died off didnt it?
should keep that going untill a plan is set
i would be in for a indy meeting place.

and for the diehard hawk racers we might be able to get some time on putnam park. heard nothing but good things about that track. its less than an hour from IMS

                        gred11
i know the southern part of indiana isnt to bad but for me stuck in the North west corner a 2 hour drive really sucks 4 hours round trip just for some halfway decent riding.

my recent drive throu michigan showed some promising areas in the middle of that state. ahh i want to do a little write up on that trip still. soon
