Never tought I would say this...

Unfortunatly I sold my stock Hawk this weekend to a guy in Ottawa , Ontario, Canada. The maine reasons are because I can't stand city driving anymore, I came across a few close call in the last few weeks and I am getting way to nervous. And I could use the money somewhere else.

The new owner is a good guy that will take good care of the old Hawk, being the sun of a Hawk owner him self.

I gave him all the info. on the forum and strongly recommanded J.D. Hord for any future mods. and for other parts.

I would like to say thanks to any that helped me out and also keep the Hawk fever alive, its a wonderfull thing.

Hope to be part of it sometime in the future.

Its not gone yet and I already regret selling it.

Sorry to hear of your loss... hope your withdrawel symptoms aren't too bad.

I too have noticed a general lack of respect on the part of four wheeled drivers these days. I don't think many of them are paying much attention to the road and it is scary how many close calls there are. Defensive driving is the rule...

I was trying to do just that(Defensive driving) but the last incident I had was more than a lack of concentration from the zombie that was in the car.

Let me explain: I am following a black corolla on the highway, my exit comes up so flasher's on, I'm engaging my self into the exit, as I come to the car level(witch is still cruising the highway), he decide to throw his flasher on, looks at me, and pushs me of on to the curb. I couldn't beleive it.

He looked at me strate in the eye, what the hell was he thinking.

Anyway, chances are I'll be off roading (looking for a good dirt bike, XR400 maybe)for a couple of years with my bro. and who knose, maybe you'l ear from me again.

I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm the proud new owner of balou34's Hawk. I look forward to owning this bike for a long long time and look forward to learning about the bike and getting to know you guys. Seems like a great bike and an even better group of guys.

Happy to be part of the club.
