Carbs work now. UPS brought my back ordered tire yesterday (holy carp at 9pm). In honor of the tire change, I exercised the chain some to use up that poor old tire.

By the end of the week I will be on the road (tags, insurance, tire mount). Woohoo.

Anyone have a spark plug tool I can borrow? I will trade you some used carb cleaner for 15 min of its use.

Is it the angle of the photo or is your muffler really that close to your tire?

Thanks guys. The picture is an optical illusion, but the pipe will be getting moved. I also need to put pegs on the back again. The bracket the previous owner made eliminated that peg and really needs to be bent out at more of an angle.
