    what time is it?

I realized when I was riding today that I have no idea to tell what time it is. I think I remember seeing someones pictures that had a small clock mounted near their guages... any recommendations on where I can find something like that? It seems like something that would pop up randomly at a dollar store, if I can ever find one.

    thanks.

    Get an Oven clock...

THey come really small, they're magnetic, and stick to anything. I used my Wifes one day, I think she picked it up at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

Other than that, I use a watch...

    All the best!

I was looking into rigging up some type of velcro watch contraption and saw some threads on here about the Sigma bike computers. They are reasonably cheap and also do speed, stop watch, along with the time. I'm probably going to go for one of those.

Try these... from the book of harley

(although a harley stem nut probably isn't the same as on our hawks)

            these formotions should work well:

they come in colors but this may go with the red hawk:

and you could always get as cheap timex, stick a little piece of hook and loop (velcro) on it and put it on the top triple tree.

so doi put the watch over the jacket and the glove, or just over the jacket?

seriously though, i know what you guys mean by losing track of time... lastnight i left my house around 8pm.... rode some, filled up the tank for tomorrow...
then i decided to ride a bit more... next thing i realize... shes sputtering and i had to hit reserve and fill her up again... i rode thru an entire tank of gas. lol. i ended up getting to bed at 2am.
