hawk club track day

I can't believe there isn't any one that knows there is a hawk only track day at jennings GP 11/23/07 . All i want to know is how to sign up , or who puts it on.

Steve Hunt is running the Hawk track day at Jennigs on the Friday after Thanksgiving. I'll see if he has a website up and running yet. Cost is $125 up to Nov. 1st I think and then it goes up a little. He is also ging to cut the entrants off at 30 I think.

Here I am. Sorry I've been out of the loop for a while. Matt Palmer has been working on the new site. I'll post up when you can go there real soon. The track day is Nov 23rd of Thanksgiving weekend as Steve Webster said. The website is a little sluggish coming up, I'll get Matt to take a look. Matt and I went to Laguna for the MotoGP and got a great interview with Craig Erion on the 20th year of the Hawk and how Erion Racing made their mark in Racing with the Hawk. Matt will soon get that up on the www.RC31.net website. I'll let you knwo when to take a look. We also want to be the single source for the all encompassing list of Hawk Rallies and track day, so please send me the rally dates and we will keep them all in one spot. Is there a date for the 20 year anniversary rally?

If your going to be there a week surely you get one day to do your own thing eh. You know we'll be taking more video for a full DVD one day...you'll go down in history!

can i rent gear at the track?

not sure if i can afford to but leathers between now and then.

They do rent leathers and I have a full suit that I usually let someone use each year as well (no charge). I'm 5'11" 170.
JenningGP site would have the rental rates, their reasonable as I recall.

I was talking to Steve Webster and he reminded me to tell everyone that we are going to stay over at the track Friday after the track day and have a cookout. So bring your grill and whatever your favorite grill food is and plan to stay over. I'll bring a projector for the computer and we can run some DVDs to. Matt just got the "Doctor and Kentucky Kid" or whatever the name is.

The TDTD5 is only 4 weeks away. You'll not find a more low key, low pressure atmosphere for a track day than the Hawk track day. Great for first timers and lots of track time for experienced riders. I would guess we'll have between 10 and 15 Hawks there this year.

I really would like to be there, transport is a major problem...unless you mind a buddy of mine and former hawk owner bringing his Aprilia supermotard.

we both wont have the hawks ready so i would show up with my rc51 (w/camera rig) and TJ has an f2 or something.

im not sure if i will have the cash flow to do this.

I can't speak for Steve Hunt, but I don't think it would be a problem. I'll have an sv1000 there along with my Hawk and I know there will be another sv1000 there as well. I think it's more about attitude than bike.
