a little over 9 months ago, i decided to take the plunge and fix my old hawk.
i was working the same steady job i had for years.
i had a pickup, a car, and now a bike
and my garage was empty when the car wasnt in it.

here we are 9 months later.
im now working on contract.. (stressful, but pays more)
my truck has a blown motor. the camaro has its clutch shot.
and the garage is so full of bike project stuff, that i cant pull a car in there.

the bike, is my main transportation. i SHOULD be looking at a clutch for the car.. but no.
instead, im pricing winter gear and foul weather gear for the months ahead.. lol.
when the clutch starts to slip on my bike, do i park it and fix the camaro?
noooooo, i call JD the same day it starts, and order a clutch from him ASAP... even though it puts me in the poorhouse for the month, its worth it.

anyway, im back to how i was when i was 18/19/20... riding EVERYWHERE. bearly driving anywhere.

funny how stuff changes full circle.

its a sickness and i have it too.

my van needed an exhaust for months, did i fix it nooooo
spent the money on my bikes

and when i did get the exhaust it sat in the van untill the registration was due. needed a smog check so i had to put it on last week.

still need to fix the power windows and air lol
but i got stuff to do on the bike so it can wait.

Yep... currently my '81 Camaro is for sale with too many goodies under the hood that could've been parts and such for the Hawk. Just bought a new Grand Cherokee.... a month ago. I've put about 500 miles on it in a month while I've put about 1200 on the Hawk in the last month.

And, yes, I've moved the Camaro out of the garage and somehow taken up the entire garage with my Hawk while I used to be able to park them both in there.

Anyone wanna buy a Camaro, by the way? I had a guy come down, test drive it, and then his wife wouldn't let him get it. It's real fast with a fresh motor (350 bored .060 over) new Grabber clutch, completely new springs/leafs/shocks, 4 spd, and more ... but it doesn't lean in the corners...

        lol,
id sell mine, but id never get the money out of it either... only way to really do it is to pull the good parts out, throw some junk in so i could sell it as a running car.. then sell the good parts.
