With winter around the corner I'm thinking about heated grips for my mostly stock Hawk. I know a couple of folks on here use heated grips. What kind are good and are there any issues with installing or using them?
I recently got rid of my heated grips as they were great but the only heated the handle bars so in really cold weather the palms of the hands were warm but the fingers were freezing.
Just got my self some heated gloves that have there own battery pack built into the glove so no wiring HARA ..I'll tell you how they are going when I have some real testing done.
PS If you are wiring them up to the bike make sure you don't wire them directly to the battery.
Damn, those no-wiring gloves might be just the ticket. I don't plan on going for very long winter rides but I'd like to keep doing the intra-city commute.
I'll see if Warmthru or something similar is sold on this side of the pond. Thanks. KD
EDIT: Ugh, no US sales and the exchange rate is murder right now.
