Loudest... Hawk... In the World! (Keith Olbermann voice)
Possibly one of the loudest Honda Hawk GT's in the known universe. :) I keep getting a lot of questions about "how loud is that muffler?" well here is your...

hey mate, that thing sounds badass. what all do you have got in there? is it one of those stroker motors I was reading about in one of the other posts?
Jesus . I have seen lots of pics but it is great to hear the chicken run. How do you think the M4 megaphone like you have on the 675 would compare on a hawk?
-I'm sorry....I did not know she was your sister.

Hi Buck- (and everybody else!)
No, it isn't a stroker, just a regular 700. Somebody else was posting about a stroker Hawk? There were a few billet stroker cranks made but I don't know where they all ended up.
In response the rest of the comments/Q's... not sure what that M4 mega would sound like. Probably not quite as loud. I'll try it on some Hawk one of these days.
89rwhp, yes. It has a seriously nice set of cylinder heads parked on top that were, I believe, originally done by Jeff Reel. They came off the DuHawki, something you old-timers will remember. I changed a few things in the heads but didn't fiddle with them too much, no need. More details here:
Right now the bike is "detuned" a bit, did a few track days this past summer and didn't want to blow it up. With flywheel, charging system and plain race fuel instead of the rocket fuel, and a few rpm's lopped off the top, it is down in the mid-80's.
OK, gotta run, VP 4.2 fumes await me in the dyno room.
