Seat Cowl?

I have saw pictures of several hawk with solo seat cowls. I am just looking at the piece that slides over the passenger seat, not a whole new tail section. I would like to buy one, but can't find them anywhere. Does anybody know where to buy one, or if one from a CBR F2 or something else would fit?

I'm not aware of any single peice that fits over the tail section making it "solo".
Corbin makes a solo seat for the HawkGT.
I think (but am not sure) Sharkinz makes the whole cowl for racing. Which I think requires mods to the sub frame.

It just fits over the back half of the seat. I have saw pictures of several hawks on the web with them. I saw a bike on ebay about a month ago that had one.
It is just like the ones that Maier sells for the newer bikes, but I can't find out who makes the ones I am seeing, or if they are still even in production.

The one I am talking about gives it that same look, but it goes on the stock seat, and it is hard plastic.

These solo seat cowls are "made in germany"

You can find it sometimes on www.ebay.de

The german word is "Sitzbankabdeckung"

Dirk, thanks for the info. Any idea if they still make them for the Hawk? If they do, what's the cost(in US dollars). I did a search for that word, but it did not help me much because I could not understand any of the pages it brought up.

Yes you can click on "Frage an den Verkäufer" it is the same as "Ask seller a question", so you can contakt the seller , he still made the solo seat cowls.
