OK so what do people think these are worth?

    Stock front caliper?

Stock front rim (with crappy tire, no rotor)?

    Stock headlight?

    Stock tailight?

    Give me your opinions! :P

Yeah, I've seen two on eBay. One hit about $130 and the other went for maybe $75. Ridiculous, I think ....but then, if my taillight was smashed, I'd be shelling out anything the seller demanded - they don't make those fuggers anymore!!! Supply and demand, baby. Supply and demand.

I predict we'll see more and more tail mods because of this effect, though. They don't make seat cowls anymore, either. Shame.

I saw a taillight go for a little over $50... don't encourage absurd pricing. Be realistic.

          Front wheel - maybe $75-100. Stock headlight - $30? Caliper - maybe $25.

I think it's ridiculous myself, that's exactly what I was saying - but I'd encourage him to put it up on eBay and see what happens! He's asking $50+shipping, and I think that's fair since it was about $100 new when Honda still stocked them. I think he should put it up on eBay for that as a starting bid and see where it goes, if no one here takes him up on that offer first. I'm a firm believer in giving the List and the Forum first crack at everything Hawk, with a decent discount for bein' one of us.

I wasn't really referring to your post, although it probably looked that way since it appeared directly below yours and had no quote... specifically, the suggestion from Hawk Jr, which (without any context) seemed to be advocating a $100+ price

I wouldn't encourage absurd pricing but if you figure they are rare parts and the new prices are outrageous. (I am at less than half the cost of new) then you are going to have higher prices.

I put them to the list first and I would entertain ANY offer. The worst I would say is no and come back with a counter offer. Too many times I have given people a price and I get no response back. If that means it is too high come back with a counter offer. I will not be offended, we are "like family" here.
