I heard of a guy once who put almost 75,000 miles on his Hawk without adjusting the valves.
I know I dreamed you,
A sin and a lie.
I have my freedom,
But I don't have much time.
Faith has been broken,
Tears must be cried.
Let's do some living,
After we die.
check the hawkgt.com archives, there's a recent thread on this. I've heard of 100K+, and it's easy to believe. Stock hawks don't die. Ever.
On a related note, since late last July when I took my very first ride around the block, I've put 5K+ miles on my Hawk. Had 9K or so when I bought it and now it's well over 16K. Not bad for the first year, huh? Especially since I didn't ride for six months in between!

People who know ride Hawks. Riot
Not bad at all! I haven't been paying close attention to the amount of miles I've put on my Hawk, but she's made quite a few trips since I've had her, nothing very long though. My Odo has 22,808 on it, but...the rest of the bike could have 100k+, or could be virtually brand new...Who knows! Makes it fun, huh?
