I hacked up a Muzzy y-pipe and called it a custom exhaust. No can, just stupidity.

I sawed off my rails with a dremel and installed integrated signals and a fender eliminator.

I took off the gauges and all that's left is idiot lights.

My clipons are mounted underneath the top triple.

      I removed the center stand.

I cut down the front fender, both leading and trailing edge.

Ditched the chain guard for a Robb Z aluminum unit.

Getting twin headlights and a paintjob.

Enough of the cosmetic stuff... on to the performance upgrades!!!

        Unique custom parts....

Front signal mounts. I machined a clamp bracket to replace the droopy stock front signal mounts. Solid stainless steel. Good thing its not too thick. I run aftermarket signal housings with 2-colour LED lights with clear lenses.

2-piece VFR wheel studs. Allows me to run a VFR rear rim on an un-modified Hawk spindle. Can also change back again to stock Hawk rim if I want to.

Coffee cup holder. Behind the right rearset where the stock megaphone was.

42T 520 Custom rear sprocket. Made from a Sprocket Specialists 7075 Aluminum sprocket blank, then hard anodized.

        Sprocket cover:

Lots of other mods, but they are all good ideas done before.

not sure what it falls under, but the best 'minor' thing I did to mine was swap out the stock headlight for one from a 2000 sv650. the sv headlight works with the stock bucket and trim ring with some small modifications and the difference at night was incredible.

I am trying to remember how to put pictures on again but if you go to 'members rides' and look under "pictures at last of black betty" submitted May 15th you will see 3 photos.
