Nice! I had forgotten all about that! I will make this a sticky!
Edit: Actually Doug needs to make this a sticky!

Nice link. I noticed the VINs really jump around. 1988 models go from 0 to 3000, then 1989 goes to 10000+. It'd be nice if they made tracking production numbers easier.
I of course immediately looked up the highest mileage Hawk. It had about 145,000 miles on it and was running well when the guy got nailed from behind by a car and it was totaled. Gotta feel bad for him. He owned it for almost a decade. I've barely had my driver's license that long.
'88 Hawk GT - back in the saddle
'99 Suzuki GZ250 - the first
'87 Suzuki GSXR1100/1207cc - traded to get my Hawk back
Is the registry update-able? Would be nice to track the history of the bikes.
-I'm sorry....I did not know she was your sister.
-If Buckleys cold mixture went rancid......how would anybody know????
-Dont piss off the quiet guy with the chain saw.

I'll see if I can find the "decoding your Vin thread" but I know.
1988's vins are 00000
1989 Vins go 10000
90's go 20000
like that.
