Should I leave the tank red, or paint it black to match?

the red's nice as an accent color, but unless you're going to add some more red to the mix ( rim stripe, some red anodized hardware, etc ) than all black would look better imho.

i'm with kilter all the way. accents, very tasteful and subtle would be awesome. otherwise, all black is badass.

I liek the red you ahve on there, looks liekt he same red my bike was sprayed with. However it looks half assed, in my opinion, with onlt the tank being red, for simplicites sake I suppose flat black for the tank woudl be my answer, but I think you could do some awesome work mixing red and flat black.

hey, off topic but, where'd you get that flyscreen? it looks awesoem from that angle (coudl i bother you for a pic of it fromt he front?). I'm runnign a targa one right now and it does a great job of blockign the wind, but it's ugly as hell. Info on that one woudl be much appreciated.

Ich bin mit Kilter. You add some black accents to the tank, or red accents to a couple other spots (red rear spring, red calipers) and you'll have yourself a hot looking evil bike.

            I say keep it red.

I say keep it red and maybe add a few red bits, red strip on rims, calibers like Isaac said, red grips, or brake and clutch levers. Just a few touches to bring it all together.

Like the screen... what kind is it?

Oh when I get home I am going to have to post up some pics.

I have a Red tail with a Blue tank and front fender and the rear rim is white.

I am thinking of painting the sides of the tank white (Red, white and Blue bike)

It doesn't have to look pretty.

Look, even I said red and I'm a guy who has painted parts of if not all of the last three bikes I bought, and I've only used black spray cans. That means that bike can look damn good with a red tank and a few accents.

Yes, more pics/info on that flyscreen please.... looks sorta like the one I have but much shorter, and with a touch of bad-ass thrown in....

Have I mentioned that I love the look of your Hawk yet?

I have a my buddy at the graphics shop cutting black reflective hawk, and RC31 logos as we speak. If anyone needs hawk logos, let me know. They will be true to original (or very close) and any color you like.

Looks like the tank is going black.

The fly screen is off a buell, Im not sure what model however...

                            Thanks for all the input!
