    Good deal

While browsing Factory's website I saw that they have TBR adjustable ignition plates on sale for $29. (normally $79)
I ordered myself one but have not got it yet so I can not tell whether or not it helps on a Hawk. But from past experience on other machines I am hoping for a little extra power for the relatively small investment.
Anyway, I just thought I would pass the info on to anyone else that might be interested.

Sorry to thread-jack here, but who's using the factory 'shift kit' and to what results ie, is it worth the money for either a track machine only or street bikes as well.....

I have one in the trackbike... I haven't used it yet. But I will let you know.

I had some problems with the bike popping outta gear (or not going in gear) between 3-4 and 4-5 on the track. I never had the problem on the street.

      Hope that helps.

The Factory shift detent kit helps but I really noticed an improvement when I added the shift star with it. I don't think I've had a half shift or missed shift since. I have these in my VFR but the results should be comparable in the Hawk GT.

I haven't yet tried to get one for the Hawk GT. I know the results were well worth the price and labor in my VFR though. It seems the VFR has a sometimes false shift to 4th or 5th gear. No more of that with the shift star and detent.
