"The list" I can't figure it out... Help...

Okay, am I missing something? I just tried to see what the Hawk GT servlist was all about. I'm pretty sure that I made it through the entire registration part, but I'm not having any luck finding anything. Am I doing something wrong? How does it work? It's a little confusing...

www.hawkgt.com Mailing list.I think around 700 subscribers,maybe 200 active,that sends usually around 40 emails a day Hawk,motorcycle or not at all related to you via email.

The list is great- more from a people POV than anything to actually do with Hawks,just happens that a bunch of cool people happen to like Hawks.No kidding,some of the closest friends I've met in adulthood have been peeps from the Hawklist - pretty freakin crazy.

its a listserv, so unlike your usual html web interface, the 'posting' is done to a central email address, that in turn, sends a copy to those people signed up to recieve the 'mailing list', its prefered by some due to the fact that they can't surf the web at work, but email is safe. I'm on the list as well, but recieve it in 'digest mode' (set up under preference) as I work on the road, and don't want to come home to 30-40 emails on a busy day, instead I get one or sometimes two emails a day with all the emails sent that day compiled into one. There is also a web interface, which I find handy for checking the list traffic/important topics that I'm watching/responding to, but can't be at home computer to check my email.

also wanted to point out, that you can filter out lots of emails either via the preferances (subscribers corner) or via your email program.
You can opt to get no email, digest mode, or each individual email as sent.
also alot of the emails use subject line headers (first word in the subject line of the email) to further avoide filling up you email if you choose, you can choose not to receive any of they following
NHC - no hawk content
NMC - no motorcycle content
SPAM - stuff for sale
Reverse Spam - stuff needed
There may be others, thats all that I can remember off the top of my head

ya im a member iv been a member for quit some time
but i didnt know that site does all that, man i should explore

hay has anyone had any contact with an admin for that site. i havent loged in for years. and forgot my info. but i emailed then and no respons. i guess just try one more time (before i create another account)

Dan Bullock is the admin. The list went through a hosting change recently, but all accounts have been transferred.

It is wierd that one can't get an email reminder or reset of passwords....
