Need a stock Hawk for a feature in Motorcycle Classics

Motorcycle Classics (Ogden Publications, Topeka KS) is my favorite bike magazine, and editor Richard Backus is a very knowledgeable and accessible fellow. Although the original focus was early American, Brit, and Italian bikes, now they are featuring more Japanese bikes as they age. This issue, November/December 2018, has a 1976 Yamaha RD400 on the cover, and a feature on the 1993 Ducati M900 Monster. And, surprise, the '88-'91 Hawk NT650 GT is mentioned briefly in a sidebar on page 11, but not with any great praise. I think it is time for a forum member with a perfect original Hawk to contact Mr. Backus (rbackus@motorcycleclassics.com) and submit to a feature story and pictures. Anyone? Anyone?

Currently 6 Hawks in my garage, and another pair out in the barn, and not one of them stock.
                  '89 Hawk a.k.a. The RallyHawk (my son's now!) | '89 Hawk a.k.a. The Deuce | Spare Parts/Dented Learner Bike | '13 Tacoma | '69 Falcon (currently getting reassembled! )

I've spent most of my money on women, beer, cars and motorcycles. The rest of it I just wasted.

Just email Richard Backus and tell him what you have. Their photographs are very professional, so I presume they send a team to do the story. Usually, when the writer is Alan Cathcart or Dain Gingerelli, they also ride the bike vigorously. I'll send him a note also.
