    Frame sliders?

Neighbor knocked my hawk over, cheap amazon mirror and frame slider too the damage. Where might I find some frame sliders for the hawk?

I supposed I could make one, but I would rather buy.

I don't think Frinesi2 makes frame sliders, he makes the upper chain slider and chain rollers.

        reload makes frame sliders: https://www.hawkgtforum.com/forum/ho...rame-sliders-2

Come to think of it, I am in need of a few sets myself...

Nope, not me. I do the other kind of sliders. reload makes the custom frame sliders. Also I've heard you can get some 10 mm stainless allthread and SV650 sliders and make it work. There may be a how-to on the forum if you search deep enough.

I'm not sure if he's still making them.

              Brent is NT696 right?

I used Rizomas. 10mmx 1.5mm threaded rod 11.5" long.....use anything long enough...these are just Ebay sliders.....just make sure you buy long ones....or you'll need spacers...

so the frame slider broke on a simple parked bike fall impact.....but will survive a 50mph slide crash..... seems weird science. doesn't F=ma

Probably just scuffed it and he wants a non-scuffed one ...

The slider cracked, but did its job. It probably wouldn't do its job again.
