I look at those images and my first thought was if I could fit the tail on my hawk.
Flock of Hawks | '13 Tacoma | '69 Falcon (currently getting reassembled!) I've spent most of my money on women, beer, cars and motorcycles. The rest of it I just wasted.
I have an 1100 DCT Rebel with about 6k miles. I really like the low end power that comes in low but really even more what happens about 4500 rpm. Pulls like a freight train. Suspension is poor and nothing like a modified Hawk.
I would kind of like a mix between a Rebel and a Sport bike. I hate tall bikes being short legged. 29 seat height would be nice. Bar change would be in order too as I want more upright due to age and bad back. I do like wind protection but don't want a 2x3ft clear board in front of me but something better than the old Targa screen. My 1997 VFR was a fantastic bike and the 1100 motor is a great motor but the VFR was too tall, top heavy and fairing prevented bars to be easily raised enough. Granted that many riders it fit very well to them.
Also, Honda limits the Rebel to 100mph but I think it is because of the poor chassis. But don't be surprised if all of their new bikes have speed limiters.
