  • Another rat Hawk

Finally got my Hawk running, with the help of Cristeas. Lot of Hawklist heritage in this one. Bike was bought from Ihab, worked on by Cristeas, and the 6p front setup is an original Lenac kit... sent by me to Wild Bill Pace, and then returned by Cristeas. Parts from Hordpower.

In the past, I've used Hawks... inappropriately. SS1K rides, two up touring, always trying to make it that only-bike that can do anything and everything. Now, the Other Bike is a BMW R1200RT, so this Hawk can be what it was meant to be... y'know, with modifications of course..

Feels great to be back on a Hawk, like stepping into an old pair of shoes. So light, skinny, and nimble.

**chef's kiss** That's nice. Solid pedigree, too.

Nice. Doesn't look to ratty to me (maybe with the exception of that RR shock). Hawks are like herpes. They just keep coming back.
Don't spend money and buy, spend time and learn.
