  • BIKEBANDITvFiled bankruptcy, stopped shipping orders but still accepting orders

Saw this thread on Jalopnik yesterday and figured I would post up so anyone who doesn't know already. Apparently they filed bankruptcy and then stopped shipping orders but are still accepting orders, so far up to the tune of 645,000 USD.

So short story long stop buying from BikeBandit, they are living up to their name. On a personal note I always try to make sure and purchase with paypal rather than entering my card or bank info. It might. Hopefully anyone who made a recent purchase can work with their bank to get a refund.

The online parts seller declared bankruptcy in February, but the website stayed up, leading thousands of customers to pay for orders they would never receive.

Wow, that stinks. I've ordered from them plenty of times but not lately - good thing.

Yeah, I was about to order some gaskets and stuff that JD didn't have listed and just happened across that. It's not my normal go to but I always like to price shop when ordering a bulk of items.

I was on there a few days ago looking for something and almost ordered, then changed my mind. Glad I did.

Seems like continuing to take money is a crime of some kind.

too much competition the replacement parts market, others will fail too.
