  • It's official. I now have a reason to post to this forum. :-)

I'm very excited to introduce to the public for the first time in 20 years:
1988. Blue. 24K miles. I'm the 3rd owner. Has been sitting in a garage for those years.
Wish me luck and please have patience as I ask many questions!

The owner was very nice. She bought this bike a long time ago. Rode it for about 2 years and 2K miles before an injury happened and then live intervened.
It came with 2 keys, a repair manual, a cowl with all tabs in place. And a gas tank that needs some help.

I'll probably continue posting over in the "What Did You Do To Your Hawk Today" thread.

Good luck with that gas tank. A problem one is a problem! Feel free to post here and have a thread logging the rehab of your hawk.

Looks like a real decent example there!

i should indeed start a thread.

is the right place to post under "general" or "mech & tech" (i'm definitely not doing a full rebuild, so i will avoid posting in that sub-forum)
