  • M4 exhaust special order?

So I was browsing the Hawk GT facebook area. There is a guy on there who contacted M4 and they agreed to do a special order of no less than 10 exhausts. I am not sure how much they needed up costing. I have asked him for details since I would really like one of these gems...

Trying to see how much interest I can gin up here - maybe we can get one last hurrah from the fine folks over at M4.

Imo they are one of the best hawk exhausts ever made. My first hawk got one.

I'd be surprised if there was not enough interest to get a run. The issue would be what mount style. The high or low ... Getting 10 people to agree on thy style would be far harder.
Don't spend money and buy, spend time and learn.

I'd be interested in knowing a price and shipping to Australia.

The M4 high mount is a good looking unit!

I got a bad case of envy for that - looks amazing... We need more interest!

Call M4 and ask them if they are in for a group buy type order. They are in Dallas, TX last I checked @ 972-481-9300 and business hours were 8 to 5 CST last I remember but I have not talked to them in a very long time. They are a company that likes guaranteed money like any other and I think last time the group buy only had 10 to get them made so it's not impossible to dream. You will either need to foot the bill up front or set up a paypal type deal for everyone to send you money.

I think their mufflers are somewhat universal mounting (to their systems), given the way I have seen them attached on the most recent versions of the Hawk system so you could probably negotiate price difference individually for each buyer but you should check with M4 directly on what the pipe differences and options are, and in order to make the group buy most effective pick one style of mount (and Personally I would vote high mount) and if they force you to pick one pipe over another put a poll up on the options and see where it goes. I'm a big fan of brushed aluminum, just because it is easy to clean up if it gets scraped up some.

I would probably be down for one myself if this gets any uplift.

Was just adding more detail for anyone interested in picking up the mantel. I have hit critical mass for unfinished projects and don't want the headache of dealing with other people's money, lol.

According to the guy that did this before (which was two years ago), the full system with Ti can went for $625 + shipping. I am sure that price will have crept up some but I don't think that is unreasonable at all.

M4 used to sell just the headers and merge/collector without the mid-pipe and muffler. I'm sure there'd be some interest in that option as well, considering how many people customize a stock M4 system for an underslung or shorty setup.

I like the High Mount as well. And if you get creative you can still get a passenger peg on there.
