Does anyone have a picture of a Hawk with this flyscreen mounted? I need something in front of me but have yet to see a windshield / fairing I like...

Not the same flyscreen, but this is an idea I borrowed (OK, stole) from Captain 80s. Chinesium, eBay part. Mounting can be a bit of a head scratcher, but I have that figured out now. If you are interested, I can provide my approach to mounting.

I saw that one on Ebay and it really does not look too bad. Let me see if anyone else chimes in.

      BTW.....Your bike is freaking AWESOME!

It was the best looking cheap, generic cowl I could find. So I took a chance and it worked out great (after relocating the headlight). The style goes with the bike pretty nicely (imo), the curve wraps around the gauges perfectly and it provides a surprising break from the wind blast.

Mounting it can be a pain. flyinelvis did a trick two part bolt system. I held the inner nuts and spacers in place with high strength 3M tape so the final mounting bolts (longer shouldered bolts I had "in stock") can be threaded thru the cowl, spacer and headlight housing. Once I figured that out, it's a breeze.

Btw, I sold A BUNCH of the National Cycle Fly Screens (they've gone thru a couple design changes). They were well made, pretty adaptable to a bunch of bikes and pretty effective.

Many thanks for the kudos. So glad I was encouraged to rebuild her following an accident late July of last year. New frame (was an '88, now a '90) new forks, radiator and some updates/changes I was wanting to make. No better time than when she's torn apart.

I tried the National Flyscreen and the Mohawk but prefer the Puig 4620H windscreen.
IMG_0324.jpg IMG_0327.jpg IMG_0330.jpg The Puig is a little taller and mounts to the headlight bolts nicely.
I will look for a photo of it on my NT650.

I bought the Puig from Revzilla. It was $104 then.

That is the best looking flyscreen I've seen.

I love OEM stock bikes, but my HAWK looks like a complete Turd compared to y'all's bikes. Just WOW!

That windscreen looks awesome painted to match the tank / body. Lots to take in with these mods.

Here is a cheap screen I got on eBay. About 30.00 new and can be had in many colors. Easy to mount with the two headlight bolts. Not as nice looking but does an excellent job I think keeping wind off my chest and no buffeting of my helmet. I am 5' 7" tall. I have the Targa screen and like it but currently I have to park bike in close area and didn't want to worry about it getting broken so I use this screen. I have had it for many years.
