who knows, don't wait for me. i'm indecisive about this stuff... largely b/c i kinda wanna see just how fast a stock-motored hawk w/ a 900rr shock and too soft fork springs can go before i upgrade it...
if you plan on parting it out let me know im looking for a swing arm for my new frame
and what does it mean when you see oil like that because my other hawks engine looks like that never could figure out where it was coming from all i know it was the top end kinda like from the carbs but that didnt make any sence to me
I know of another one close by, even cheaper (me he ha ha)
This is my 4th Hawk. Snowbankhawk (aka my racebike), Kuwaitihawk, Fastrackshawk (aka Jeff's Hawk) and now Shastymcnasty hawk.

Not sure if I am gonna part it out... leaning that way (the spare engine would be nice).
As for the brown stuff on the engine...? I am told this is a 700 motor and that is a head gasket issue. I have not ripped into it to make sure but it is good to hear someone else has seen this.
Anyone else have ideas?

Is that an oil cooler behind the radiator? THAT may explain the blown head gasket. ops:
Oil cooler? I don't see one.
