Cheers, it works well but I plan to install a longer can as it's louder than I like.

HOTM is mostly about appearances. I haven't studied photography and only own an old smartphone but I do try to frame my shots, have a neutral background and wait 'til the magic hour. I just wanted some good images of the bike and decided the throw it in HOTM later but a lot of what you see is bs - in the shot of the top clamps for example attention is drawn to the shiny fork caps and away from the rusty stem nut and peeling top triple. From some angles I think my bike looks great, from others it looks plain clunky. I'm sure perceptions would be very different if the same photographer shot all the entries.

I'm proud of having designed radiators for these bikes and having built my own motor, forks and now rear shock for this one (I told Deckwan he can have it back if he sends a 15-man team with a bone saw) but plenty of others here do work I think is just remarkable. It's a great community to be a part of, it always has been. My vote's for rpcraft: great bike, lousy photos.

I dunno, I am very consistent in my voting:
            • I prefer non-red bikes
            • I prefer highly modified bikes
            • I prefer bikes that show attention to a cohesive aesthetic
            • 'Clean' modifications are key. It cannot look like an erector set.
As a rule, I vote for the bike I want to ride the most!

Yours is nice too. It just needs some paint to bring in all together.

In rpcraft 's defense, he tossed his hat in the ring when no one else would man / woman - up / and even thoug it wasn't quite complete, still no challenges for the better part of 2 weeks. It looked like a solo win month right up until the whistle was about to blow. Without him stepping up, we may not have had a contest this month. Thanks rpcraft

Hawk of the Month: make me feel bad about my bike.

If you were looking for a support group you're barking up the wrong tree. This place is fulla enablers dude. - Shooter77us

The bitterness of low quality lingers long after the thrill of a low price has gone. - RacerX450

Try and separate a man from his soul. You only strengthen him and lose your own. - J. Newman

Exactly! It was looking like a challenge between a project Hawk ... and a Road Warrior ... and then ....
