    cdi unit that allows your bike to rev to 10200 rpm

    Has any body got one of these units that allows the engine rev to 10200rpm have just got from ebay but it will not fit my 650 but will fit the 400 the pins are different round instead of push on spades,but the unit is made by the same people that made the origonal one i think ive been conned any advice from anybody

        so rob do you think ive been conned on it i think the round pins are on the 650 pgm ones and this one has come from usa ?? and has normal push on crimp type connectors,but it works on my wifes 400 well it runs havent ridden it yet

            i believe they are just bros 400 CDIs (check the serial number with the wifes bike!), id contact the seller and see what he says 1st? most people on ebay are decent, its just a few that spoil it!

              Honda switched to a different ignition system on the PGM BROS. From what I have seen in diagrams it has a different pickup system than the Hawk. (and BROS 400) Same reason those who swap certain AT engines into the Hawk have to switch ignition systems. So it looks like you have a spare CDI for your BROS 400 because that's all the 10.2k box people use on a Hawk is. It will have the letters "KW0" on it in white near the connector.
