Tailpipe / header leaks

What do I use to fill the gaps where the pipes go together.

I'm having some backfire issues and can feel air escaping through most of the joints so I'ld like to solve tha leaking before moving on. I used new gaskets on the head - header connection so thats good.

Can I use aluminum foil?

The auto shops around here all stock the same stuff.

Reynold's wrap, shims cut from Red Bull cans... I've even used electrical tape (it becomes powder eventually) - but what you need to do is the same as what I need to do this weekend - run down to the local moto shop and pick up crush washers.

I hav some crush washers that I bought the other day, I just haven't had time to see if they're the right size.

It's too big for the headers but it might fit the big side of the Y pipe on my M4.

If'n it does I have two, one as a spare...

Where'd you get them?! I can't find them, but I haven't been to Kaotic yet (moto shop around the corner from me - how lame is it that I still haven't gone there yet?)
