cbr 600 front forks

just woundering does anyone now if the 2005 cbr600rr usd forks have the same diameter has the 2005 cbr1000rr or 2005 rc51

i know the 05 1000 and rc have the same diameter but my lower triple is from a 600 of the same year and the fit with the 1000 forks seems off.

o and i did cheak to see if the triple worked in the hawk frame. and it looked like a good fit to me. just in case anyone was woundering

Uhhh... If you have the 1000RR forks and the 05 600RR lower triple can't you just use a vernier caliper to measure?

But, I'm pretty sure the outer diameter on the 1000RR forks are larger top to bottom vs. the 05-07 600RR forks. Well I know for sure the top part is 50MM (1000RR) vs. 48mm (05-07 600RR).

Oh and FYI the 05-07 CBR600RR upper steering stem O.D. is 26mm and the lower is 30mm.

You never got around to posting your dimensions in my thread, but for me it's moot now since I have a 06 600RR front end coming in this week. But ya might want to post it for others.

Oh and another FYI...contrary to what some have said...The 1000RR and 05-07 600RR front forks do have compression adjustment in addition to rebound and preload.

i did measure and found the lower triple to be about .1" to small just wanted to confirm before i try to force them on. looks like i better not try
