Has any one modified one of these rims for a hawk?

Its off an rs250 it measures 18 x 4.5. I just saw it and kinda like it.
90 Hawk. What can I do to make it better?
78 yz125. What can I do to destroy this thing?

Why would you want an 18" wheel? That would severly limit your tire selection.

It looks like a VFR wheel... and that's a pretty common conversion. I'd get one off a VFR instead.

If thats a rotation arrow below the center hole (kind of hard to see) Then it is designed for a SSSA from the other side. May not be any good anyway. Anyone have a picture of an RS250 to confirm?

To be useful, you also need to know the offset is correct. Hawks and VFRs use 19mm of offset to get the tire on the centerline of the bike. The mounting face is 19 mm to the right of the bikes centerline.

          Yes,RS250 Pro Arms are reversed.

No idea at all concerning hub and pins etc fitment compared to a Hawk. You can get tires for it but not a wide variety.

Another thing to remember is that when the RS' switched to SSA in 1993 they never ran a 18" rear.
